We are SoftScan, a brand name of Zanido Software Ltda. ("SoftScan", "we", or "us"), the provider of the applications ScanTrip and ScanBoard ("Apps"). Your use of the Apps is governed by the Apple License Agreement.
Your privacy is important to us. We appreciate the trust you place in SoftScan and are committed to protecting your personal information.
ScanTrip and ScanBoard do not collect, track, or store any personal data — not even your name or email address.
All data you input into the ScanTrip and ScanBoard is processed locally on your iOS device. This data is used solely to generate QR codes and trip-related reports.
SoftScan does not operate external servers to store or process any data you provide. Your data remains exclusively on your device unless:
In certain regions, such as the United States, information you enter (e.g., student names or grade levels) may be subject to laws such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Even though all data remains on your device, you are responsible for ensuring you have legal access to the information you input into ScanTrip and ScanBoard.
All subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. We do not have access to or store any payment or billing details. We only receive a secure transaction identifier from Apple to verify your subscription status.
ScanTrip and ScanBoard do not collect any analytics or diagnostics data.
This Privacy Policy is governed by applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union. Legal requirements regarding the processing of personal data may change over time. Should any changes occur, an updated version of this Privacy Policy will be published.
If any material changes affect your privacy rights, we will notify you within the App and request your consent as required.
